Off duty look

 

Working in creative industry means I can wear pretty much everything, so there isn't really off duty look, but this one is a bit too casual, I'd normally reserve it to the beach or going to park on one of these hot summer days.

This dress holds a great memories for me. I bought it on my first trip to NYC (hopefully there will be more trips) on another hot day in Abercrombie and Fitch. It's very lightweight and super comfy, therefore perfect for the heatwave.

1. Selection of pink shoes are a must for Miss Pink. As you can tell I love Valentinos.. and Dune. Chanel nail polish thrown in for good measure.

4. Finally tried caviar manicure by Ciate. It looked quite pretty, but I was really worried about its staying power and took it off rather quickly. Wasn't impressed and judging by your comments on twitter and instagram you weren't either.

Five things

I've seen this post on many blogs, where people said five not so well known facts about themselves and I thought it would be fun to do the same. Hope you'll like what you read ;)

1. I am originally from Czech republic where all my family still lives. I am an auntie to niece and nephew and I miss them dearly.

2. Like most people I love travelling and the places I loved the most so far are NYC and Italy. It is my dream to learn and speak italian fluently.

3. I love coffee. Costa and Starbucks are my favourite. Starbucks Mocha Frappucino is my all time favourite drink, which I get way too often.

4. I love changing things a lot. I get bored easily, so I move furniture around, have tried every hair cut/colour possible, try new things..

5. I used to do drama for 9 years. I used to host various events and dreamt of being an actress. But I also always loved fashion and chose it as a career path instead.

I have wanted the pink polka dot JCrew jumper for ages and I was mega happy when the BF treated me. Can't wait for my first JCrew item to arrive and hoping to buy many more. Also look forward to them opening thei first UK store to be opened later this year. Are you a JCrew fan?
My favourite past time is reading, especially fashion magazines. I've just renewed my ELLE subscription too so couldn't be happier.
As Miss Pink I totally need that pink Valentino bag in my life. It's my ultimate dream buy for this year. Time to start saving up...

Marilyn Monroe once said, that all she wears to bed is Chanel No5. I wear Chanel Chance (my all time fave) and a lacy nightie.
The new place I share with the BF is nearly finished. We've used a lot of black and white. I love drinking coffee from our new stripy mugs with a view of NYC skyline pictures.

InstaMonday -NYE addition

What used to be It's an instagram life, an irregular feature, has become InstaMonday and as the name suggest you can expect it every Monday. I'll be looking at the previous week through instagram. There's few changes coming on the blog in the next year and I hope you'll like them.

One of my style resolutions for next year is to try new things out more often and wear even more sequins and glitter - there's never enough ;) what's your style resolution?

In 2013 I'm hoping to go back to NYC. It's my favourite city and I often reminisce about my holiday there. This is a picture we just got for our living room.

I feel super glamourous when I wear my (vintage) fur coat and in my opinion a day when you wear your favourite lipstick is a good day.
