Shoe or a bag girl?

They say you are either a shoe girl or a bag girl. I'm still not sure what category I fall into..

For my birthday in March I got nice sum of money and wanted to splurge it all on a nice designer handbag and possibly my first pair of Louboutins (your shoe collection isn't complete until you own at least a pair and they were missing..). In the end I bought 2 pairs of designer shoes (Valentino sandals seen here and the above), Miu Miu cross-body bag (they are my latest obsession) and few other bits. I got it all on various sales (these above were a steal at the Outnet - my favourite site to score designer bargains) and I got loads more for my money.

I still want that new designer tote and loads more shoes. So what does that make me? (apart from a spendaholic...)

New in: Valentino sandals

 

So I've finally bought my first pair of sandals of this season. I suspect there will be many more to come, but for now I'm just gonna enjoy my rather pretty Valentinos. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to break them in.

Summer sandals for every occasion (wishlist)

With the weather getting warmer and warmer, all I've been thinking about is adding some sandals to my summer wardrobe. Whilst most some of these are out of my budget, it's nice to see what's in stores, get an inspiration and the plan is to get few pairs soon. Bring on sandal weather :)

Start as you mean to go on

 

It's a new day of a new year and as they say, we should start as we meant to go on. I'm putting my best foot forward, introducing my new Jimmy Choos  (bought for half price!) as a Christmas present from myself to me, that I intend to wear today to start 2014 well. I have so many plans for this year and I'm planning to make them reality in fabulous footwear.

The bottom picture was my most liked on Instagram, liked even by Jimmy Choo themselves (honoured) - so here's to Social media, breaking records, making yourself better, meeting new people, dreams becoming reality, spontaneous buys, gorgeous shoes and handbags, being glamorous and many more things.

May 2014 be the best year ever.

1. I literally can not stop buying lipsticks. I love them. I can't even pick a favourite, because it changes with every new one.. Never too many ;)

2. Tis the season to sparkle. All I've been wearing lately includes glitter and sequins.

3. New shoes. Do you love leopard? I'm obsessed.

The ultimate Miss Pink shoe

If you follow me on Twitter you may have read about me winning Upper Street shoes competition four weeks ago. Every Tuesday (try your luck today!) you can tweet a picture of your favourite shoes to @upperstreetshoes with hashtag #ShoesDayTuesday and every week they pick a winner of bespoke shoes. If you haven't heard of Upper Street before, make sure you check them out.

It's a website where you can design shoes exactly how you like. I knew my pair had to be pink (obviously), pointy, include snakeskin and a bow. Then I played around with textures, colours and yesterday my Ultimate Miss Pink shoes arrived. They fit perfectly, the packaging exceeded my expectations and I love them.

Love at first sight

If you follow my Instagram you would have seen these on there long before Christmas. It was love at first sight, but at £600 they are not cheap. Although good things come to those who wait and I've finally welcomed these beauties to my life. I predict a long loving relationship. Expect to see them A LOT.

Monochrome (shoes)

 

 After months of searching I found my perfect spring shoes. And as they're so great, I had to get them in both black and white. I discovered them yesterday at Kurt Geiger sale, went in to purchase them today and they were further reduced! Which makes me of course super happy. Expect to see them a lot if/when spring eventually turns up.

Also like this cheaper H&M version which unfortunately was too small for me.

Friday's wishlist - shoes

Spring is (slowly) making an appearance and what better excuse to add some new shoes to your wardrobe. All of these would make a great addition. I am sucker for Jimmy Choos. If money was no object, I'd only buy shoes there. What is your favourite shoe brand?

Glittery shoes and a favourite handbag

Since getting this pink YSL handbag in the summer, it's been used a lot. It's fair to say it's my favourite one, although I try not to play favourites with my bags. My glittery Jimmy Choo shoes are perfect for this time of year and have become my Holiday staple.
I am also wearing: H&M skirt and blouse (both old), Michael Kors watch, random bracelet and YSL Arty rings.

It's an instagram life #24

I wouldn't be Miss Pink if I didn't fall with the above Valentino pumps in love at first sight. They're sold out in most sizes at Net-a-porter, yet mine is still available. At £580 they're way out of my budget, but a girl can dream hey :)
I've been spending last few days by English seaside (Bexhill-on-sea), where I had walks on the beach, time to read fashion magazines and I've been doing quite a lot of swimming, using jacuzzi, steam room/sauna and I'm already starting to feel like a new person! The swimsuit I picked up in a sale is by Frostfrench and I'm loving the floral print.

As much fun as I'm having in the countryside (wearing no make-up) I can't wait to glam up again. I use my DKNY make-up bag sometimes as a tiny clutch, YSL mascara is great as are their lip glosses which have amazing staying power. Chanel nail polishes are occasional treat. Just like was this Lanvin iPhone case. I first saw it a while ago, but before I decided to buy it, it got sold out. This time when I saw it back in stock I didn't hesitate a minute and bought it straight away. It arrived today and it's been bringing a smile on my face ever since.

Like many other people, I'm feeling the mood for all thing burgundy - one of the biggest trends for autumn. My Chanel nail polish - Rouge Noir - fits the mood perfectly.
I'm the definite handbag girl and find the below quote from Coach Bond street store very true.
London is starting to look very Christmasy, with Oxford street light switched on last week.

I love gold nearly as pink. What an amazing colour. Can't wait for the party season and wear my Jimmy Choo wedges loads. My Michael Kors watch is an everyday essential and so is YSL bracelet.

Choo lover

You may remember this post about my dream Jimmy Choo shoes that I wanted to wear for the wedding. As I'd been trying to be good with over-spending I never got them. But I couldn't stop thinking about them..
I'm going to a fancy garden party in August and thought they'd be perfect as they're wedges. Fast forward to yesterday and now I can call myself a proud owner of my first ever pair of Jimmy Choos. To say I'm in love is an understatement. And I keep on remembering Carrie Bradshaw when she said: "Hallo lover!"
