The one in Chiswick House

jeans Paige, jacket, shoes Gianvitto Rossi, bag Valentino, top , ring YSL, bracelet Lola Rose

You may or may not know that I love travelling but also exploring parts of England and visiting its many manor houses, museum, galleries etc. I must admit that my outfit for exploring Chiswick house wasn't the most appropriate (I swapped the heels for my Acne boots) but it was definitely a great backdrop for a photoshoot.
I visited during my week off work at the beginning of February, which happened to be the coldest week and as much as I enjoyed the scenery and gorgeous Conservatory, I must say it wasn't the best day as it really was bitterly freezing. So I am definitely planning to go back when the weather warms up.
As for the outfit, I love dressing up jeans with heels and boxy jackets or blazers. I got these shoes in the sales and they were a bargain! I wanted to have a pair of red stilettos for a while and I just love this shade of red and also the fact that they are suede. I'm really preferring suede to leather these days. And Gianvitto Rossi definitely knows a way to my heart.
Can you believe that it's nearly the end of February? I'm glad because it was so cold and miserable (weatherwise) although it's been quite a good month for me. Anyway bring on March and hopefully more warmer days and sunshine.
How was your February?
Have a stylish day.

Happy Valentine

sweater ASOS sadly sold out , skirt now on sale!, booties Gianvito Rossi very similar ones and cheaper version, bag Valentino

Happy Valentine everyone! I know I'm a little early but a) I believe if you love someone you should tell them every day and b) I blog outfits on Friday ;). How are you all celebrating?
You may read in my last post that I am single (and looking) so I won't be doing anything special but I am certainly not bitter about it. Life has been good lately, things are going in the right direction and I feel happy right now. If the right man comes along great, but in the meantime I'm trying to enjoy every day.
On another note I have been on a detox for the past week and I am slowly getting used to eating only healthy things, I haven't had coffee since Saturday and I'm craving it more than sugar, and there have been days where I felt constantly hungry but I feel like I have more energy and am less bloated and hopefully few pounds have dropped off (I haven't weighted myself yet). And although I am hoping to loose some weight the primary focus is to treat my body with respect and only nourish it with good stuff and I want change my eating habits for better for the long run not just for this week.
And lastly (I probably say this all the time) but I can't wait for Spring and shedding layers and being more outdoors again. Enough of winter now.
Don't forget to tell me all about your Valentine's day plans!
Have a stylish day.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year!
Looking back at this year there were some not so great moments, but there were definitely some really good ones. I've been wanting to travel more and by going home to Czech republic twice, Paris 3 times and Cyprus and Rome, I think I've done quite well there. I am already booking Paris for my birthday in March and hoping to visit Venice and NYC next year so let's hope that all goes well.

The thing I am most pleased about though is getting back to blogging and I have some big plans for next year in that regard. I am planning to start posting more often soon, with more beauty and lifestyle posts coming. I would love to know what posts do you enjoy reading and want to see more of.
What has been your favourite look of this year?
What are your dreams and goals for 2017?

Have a stylish day.

Juxtaposition

jeans Current Elliott, shoes Gianvito Rossi, jumper Zara, gilet  Zara, bag Valentino, sunglasses Miu Miu

I  love mixing supposedly opposing items together. Like dressing down a pretty dress with a denim or leather jacket or adding dressier shoes to a casual outfit. Heels and jeans are just so good. Case in point  my ripped jeans and these booties (which were a major sale score in the summer sales). Another thing I seem to like (and am good at) buying things out of season. You get the best bargains if you're buying winter coats and boots in summer sales and  your bikinis and summer dresses in winter sales. Something to bear in mind with all the sales coming soon.

On another note I can't believe the Winter Wonderland is opening tomorrow. I guess Christmas really is just round the corner. London is looking super festive already and they've started playing Christmas songs and I am actually very excited. I love this time of the year!
BTW I've got loads of Chrismassy London pictures coming up on Instagram (few are there already). If you're into that kind of stuff you can follow me @adelamisspink.
Feel free to let me you IG links in comments below I always love discovering new accounts.

Have a stylish day.
