Prada SS 12 campaign

I remember the Prada SS 12 fashion show, like it was yesterday. It was different, it was innovative, it was what Miucciua Prada does best. Now the images have been released for official campaign, which is set around a gas station in a 1950′s inspired shoot photographed by Steven Meisel and it screams perfection. You can just feel the fifties vibe. And could Natasha Poly look any hotter? The other models included are: Meghan Collison, Elise Crombez, Ymre Stiekema, Katryn Kruger and Kati Nescher. What do you think?

Christy Turlington for Vogue Italia

As many of you seemed to like my last Vintage Sunday post featuring the ever so beautiful Christy Turlington, I decided to show that her beauty really is timeless. Just look at this editorial photographed by Steven Meisel for Vogue Italia July 2010, she doesn't seem to have aged a day! What I love about this photoshoot is the contrast of beautiful clothes and rough background. I think it makes it more interesting. Vogue Italia of course isn't afraid of experimenting. Their editorials are great.
Oh and by the way, does anyone know Christy's beauty secrets? I want to look like that!
Have a stylish day.

Vintage Sunday

Another good example of great black and white photography and the power of the supers. Can Christy Turlington look any better. Of course the amazing styling of Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele (whose work I feature a lot in Vintage Sundays) and photograpy by Steven Meisel makes all a match made in heaven. Did you know French Carlyne's editorial work first appeared in Anna Wintour's first issue of Vogue? Lots of great styling work followed including her latest cover for Vogue Italia featuring Rachel Zimmerman. But today let her show us how powerful accessories can really be.
Have a stylish day.
