Fashion month and more pins

I don't know how about you, but I'm addicted to Pinterest. It certainly doesn't help my sleepless nights.. I always discover so much on there. Even things I wasn't looking for..
For a second season now I started a board called Fashion Month (AW14) where I pin all my favourite looks from New York, London, Milan and Paris fashion weeks. If you don't have time to go through all the looks of all the shows, you can see my picks here.
My other boards include looks from my favourite bloggers, interior design, powerful accessories, all things pink (surprise surprise) and much more. You can follow me here.
Do you like Pinterest?

InstaMonday

1. Designer shoes are my weakness. These were my options for NYE. Valentino and Jimmy Choo are my faves, but really want to add Christian Louboutin to my collection this year (hopefully for my birthday in March)
2. Like Carrie Bradshaw, I like my money right where I can see it. In my wardrobe. Which has been newly tidied and reorganised. Looking forward to spring and shedding layers and wearing lots of colour.
3. There's never enough sparkle. Got these earrings in New look for £2 and love them! This girl likes a bargain :)
4. January and February are my least favourite months, so I will spend probably many evenings watching SATC with a glass of red. Just like Friends, you can never watch SATC too many times.
5. #tbt 21st February 2011 was a day that made history. Burberry decided to screen their catwalk show on the screen at Picadilly Circus and I was there to witness it. Now everyone is live streaming, but that was special! Wearing Jonathan Saunders dress.
Can you believe another London Fashion week is nearly here?!

Have a stylish day.

LFW day one - what I wore

I only attended LFW one day this season on Friday. I wore this best bargain ASOS skirt, which is quickly becoming my favourite. I had my hair done later by Tony&Guy and it looked much better then here, but it was too dark to photograph.
Did you attend London Fashion Week?
Top Michael Kors, skirt ASOS, shoes Valentino, bag Zara (super old), YSL arty ring, lip and snake ring and New icons bracelet H&M, zigzag rings ASOS, watch Michael Kors. Nails Essie Mezmerized (blue) and Cocktail bling (grey).

Jumper weather

I can't believe we're in jumper season again. My favourite J.Crew jumper makes it a bit better, but I was hoping we'd get a bit more Indian summer. Oh well I guess it's time to buy more knitwear and make the most of it.
Also London Fashion week is starting today - who's excited?!
Jumper J.Crew, pants H&M, shoes Carvela Kurt Geiger, bag Mulberry Bayswater, watch Michael Kors, New icons bangle, lip and snake ring H&M, zigzag rings ASOS, arty ring YSL. Nails Essie Mezmerized.

London Fashion Week: David Koma

Apart from the ones mentioned yesterday, this was my favourite collection of London Fashion Week AW13 and I thought it deserved a special post. The shapes, the structure, the detailing, the leather and everything else. I love it all. David Koma is definitely one to watch.
Who was your favourite?

London Fashion Week Round up

Burberry - season after season I can't wait to see what Christopher Bailey has in store for us. I've sung many praises for him before and I simply can't get enough. Another amazing collection full of animal prints (yay), the best trench coats out there, equisite tailoring.. You name it. CB I salute you!

Osman - minimalistic perfection. Love the assymetric cuts and winter white.

Antonio Berardi - his attention to detail is second to none. Love the cuts and textures.

Can you believe another Fashion Week is over?! What were you favourite shows/looks?
Have a stylish day.

More adventures plus LFW

During my adventures came the fashion month and even though I didn't do the whole London Fashion Week this season, I couldn't resist attending few events. Above is a dress I loved by Evmorfia.
LFW of course means full on make up. Here's few bits from my extensive collection.
Needles to say I've been wearing my Valentinos a lot. They seem to go so well with everything, including my Acne jeans.

When in Somerset House, I picked up a leaflet for the upcoming Valentino exhibition, which takes place there and starts in November. I can't wait to see it!
Also spending time in all these amazing hotels with numerous facilities I'd feel guilty not to take advantage. Hence I picked up a new sport. I have to admit I haven't been playing as much as I loved to, but I really enjoy tennis.
Have a stylish day.

Alice Palmer AW 12

Last night I had my fingers crossed for Alice Palmer who was nominated for one of Scottish Fashion Awards. Unfortunately she didn't scoop a prize, but in my eyes she's a winner. I love her creations and was excited to have attended her presentation during London Fashion Week. Here's a look at some amazing pieces from the AW 12/13 collection. As great as the photos look, I can tell you than in real life the clothes look even better. Alice hand knits everything and the attention to detail is jaw-dropping.
Shame about the award, but there's always another year. I wish her best of luck in everything and dream of owning one of her pieces.
Have a stylish day.

Ada Zanditon at London Fashion Week

I discovered Ada Zanditon's work a while ago and was excited to finally meet her in person at London Fashion Week in February. Talking to her you realize how passionate she is not only about designing clothes, but in the most eco way possible. Sustainable fashion is very imporant to her.
Ada Zanditon, born and based in London, is a first class graduate of the LCF and made her London Fashion Week catwalk debut in September 2009 with Vauxhall Fashion Scout's Ones to Watch. Since then it's been a rather succesful story.
Core to the brand philosophy is a sustainable business practise which Zanditon is constantly refining and seeking to improve. A wide range of sustainable textiles are sourced. She won the EFF & Fairtrade Foundation's, Innovation award which lead to some exciting Fairtrade collaborations.
Her work has been featured in countless of publications and worn by many celebrities and her star

continues to rise. She is stocked in high-end boutiques all over the world and judging by the AW 12/13 collection we can expect a lot more from her.
Have a stylish day.
