Pastel days

 I am not one to wear pastels much. These are pretty much the main(only?) pieces I own. But I'm meant to be getting outside of my comfort zone more so there you go..

White out

I love wearing white in the summer. It's probably my favourite colour and white strapless top like this is my ultimate summer staple (I have loads of them..). I tend to pair it with nudes and this metallic skirt adds a nice final touch. Of course I couldn't forget few pink accessories.

Denim and lace

May couldn't have started better. It was a Bank holiday in Czech yesterday and the weather was gorgeous so I went for a walk with my mum and niece. I decided to dress up my denim shorts with a bit of lace. I didn't choose the best shoes for a walk but fashion often isn't logic.

Yesterday it was so warm that I actually wore no jacket for the first time this year! And it was nice :) it's meant to get colder, but for now I'm enjoying wearing as little as possible. Keeping the colour palette light with just a pop of colour thanks to my shoes.

Neutral prints

 

Prints like leopard or stripes are kind of neutral (and timeless!) and you can mix them with anything. Even together. That's why it's so great/important having loads of them in your wardrobe. Colourwise I am softening up, but still like to add a bright lip (and a pop of pink).

Holiday greetings

My first outfit post from Czech republic, taken on the street where I grew up and my parents have lived all my life. Since arriving I've been living in jeans and flats and  I haven't painted my nails for a few days (gasp!). But that's all going to change because I miss dressing up. I needed to take a break from everything and relax for a few days though.

Also introducing my new jeans that I oredered from the outnet (site that I love) just before leaving UK and had them sent to Czech - the joys of internet. I find it harder and harder to find the perfect pair and was looking for ages, before I bought this pair. I love them already so it was worth the wait.

Excuse the unimaginative title, but I seriously couldn't think of one. Nothing in this outfit really stands out, but it all works so well together (in my opinion). I'm the biggest fan of timeless pieces that stand the test of time rather than one-season-hit-wonders and this is a great example of that.

I have to admit I was a bit cold wearing this outfit, but I just can't help dressing lighter when the sun comes out. Bring on Spring!
