Places: Laduree

Welcome to another post from my monthly series where I recommend a place I love. I should have probably started the series with Laduree, because it truly is one of my favourite. I've been there countless of times, with friends and on my own. I visited all three in London (Covent Garden, Harrods, Burlington Arcade Piccadilly) and one in Paris so far. I will very likely visit another one when I go to Paris in March. And they have it in NYC and recently opened in LA and other locations too and one day I'm hoping to visit them all. There's just something about them I love.
It feels decadent but affordable, the coffee is good and they also have a great selection of teas. And don't get me started on the desserts! They are famous for their macarons (salted caramel and pistachio are my favourite) and if you haven't you definitely must try them, but the other desserts are to die for too. I definitely recommend Ispahan (the pink one below with fresh raspberries) but anything you order, you will love it.
They are also great for Afternoon tea and their Club sandwich is delicious.

Seeing stars

When I went for a tea and macaroons one afternoon and Laduree pastel colours matched my blush pink coat so perfectly I simply had to take photos right? Pastels in winter, who would have thought that? But that's what's good about fashion, it's so unpredictable.

But more to the point, or the star shall I say. H&M is becoming quite the star for me in their knitwear department. Not only I found there this gem (pun intended), but my current starry number too. And there's few more cardis and jumpers I'm thinking about.

This outfit is quite the bargain hunter's paradise. Apart from lovely H&M bits, both the coat and the bag have been delicious summer sales' finds.

1. This past weekend was full of belated birthday celebrations. I met two of my great friends and they both got me the same card. I think that must mean they're right ;)

2. One of my pressies was this pretty jewellery box. It'll fill up rather quickly..

3. It's safe to say I've got a weakness for all things French. Laduree macaroons, YSL anything (beauty, bracelet, arty rings...)

4. Eating pink macaroon, with pink nails, wearing pink jeans. I'm called Miss Pink for a reason ;)

5. Enjoying a Cosmo on a sunny Saturday, wearing my fave Dior sunglasses and YSL handbag

Last Monday was my boyfriend's birthday and we celebrated by spending long weekend in the May Fair hotel in London.

1. We ate couple of times in our favourite steak house Gaucho and generally ate out in nice restaurants.

2. When in May Fair you simply have to visit Laduree in Burlington arcade.

3. Long walks in sunny London are a must. Picadilly was buzzing as always.

4. I visited the May Fair hotel spa twice for wonderful massages. I felt like a new person after. Amazing!

5. And of course I had to visit Shard for the famous new view of London and totally recommend it.
