H&M summer preview

 After what seems to have been the longest winter ever, all I can think about is sun and summer holidays. And with it come the wardrobe dilemmas of new bikinis, sunglasses, beach bags.. The list goes on. I went to see H&M summer preview of things that will be hitting stores shortly and we're in for a treat. I'm becoming bigger and bigger fan of the high-street giant and now I think I'll go there for my summer essentials too. (I need that neon necklace!) Do you like what you see?

Buy of the week

Last couple of weeks the Buys of the week were designer. And let's face it, not everyone can afford designer, or at least not all the time. So today I'm bringing you high street treasures. Yes plural! I've got two great products I bought yesterday and loving very very much. I popped into Zara - without a doubt my favourite high street store. I wanted to buy everything! In the end I walked out with three items, one of which is a pair of shoes I'm going to show you tomorrow for my Party feet post - stay tuned as they are HOT.
So the first thing is python print shirt for £29.99. I've been after one for a while. Animal print is huge and snakes are my current favourite. It looks very much like one by Equipment but for a fraction of the prize. It feels nice on the skin and I already have million outfit options in my head. It's an easy way to dress up your skinnies. I bought mine one size too large to balance the proportions. I also love tying shirts at waist. It gives a cool edge to prim skirts and smart pants.
Second item is a golden threads boxy jacket. It's very Rachel Zoe whose style I admire. I love that it seems very sparkly and dressy but looks great with jeans. Perfect for many occasions. I've been after something like this for a while. It cost decent £69.99 and I can tell you now, I'm going to wear it A LOT.

My favourite high-street shop - Zara

Hands down Zara is one of my favourite high-street shops. If not the number one! They are good at interpreting designer trends in their own way and their accessories are not to be missed. I visited recently and wanted to buy everything! It's good quality at very reasonable prices and whatever you're after you're likely to find it there. If your favourite trend for spring/summer is colour blocking, this is the place to go. The selection is second to none. Prefer more minimalistic wardrobe, full of white and neutrals? Yep they have it! You can stock up for warmer months and it won't break your bank. What's not to like? Here's few pictures from their look book. I want it all!

Party feet by Zara

Spring/summer is all about colour. Embrace the trend with this fabulous pair of shoes by Zara. The blocked heel gives a nod to the 70s trend so you'll kill two birds with one stone. Perfect with flares and a blouse or a maxi dress and stacked up bangles for bohemian feel. Take note that this pic is doing them no justice (need to start using proper camera), the colours are better in reality. Electric blue, shocking pink and canary yellow. Love!
Need to add that Zara is one of my favourite high street shops and as always are stocked up full with their version of the best trend. I've already spotted loads of pieces I love in there and will be stocking up and of course reporting.

Valentino for Gap

This week is very exciting for high street shoppers. Today saw the mayhem caused by the hottest collaboration of the year - Lanvin for H&M. People were queueing since early morning to get their hands on a Lanvin piece with reasonable price tag. And if you have seen the collection you understand why. It's hot! If you didn't get to buy anything do not worry. Another very interesting collab hits the shops this saturday and it's Valentino for Gap. Sounds like a very unlikely pairing but it turned out quite well. Judging by the pictures I predict a very busy day for London's Gap's flagship store.

Meadham Kirchoff for Topshop

Benjamin Kirchoff and Edward Meadham have been doing well since graduating from Central Saint Martin's. Their label Meadham Kirchoff is the go-to for original cool pieces and they have been getting praise from all fashion insiders. It is then no surprise, that they are coming up with a special collection for Topshop. It will mainly consist of edgy tees and dresses with their signature style. I'm thinking we're definitely in for a treat. Check it out instore or online at Topshop.com. This is a high street collaboration not to be missed.

Zara - my favourite high street shop

I wear a lot of black. But as soon as the sun starts coming out, I switch to lighter colours. I wear lot of whites and nudes. Nude is THE colour of this season. All the shades from toffee, to caramel and beyond. I saw this shop-window in Zara Covent Garden and it made me smile. I love the colours and the clothes! The summer is coming and you can feel it all around.

high street find of the week

As I mentioned few days ago, denim is HUGE this season. And it's a timeless fabric, because it never really goes out of fashion. So it's worth buying some pieces. I found this super cute playsuit in H&M, that is so easy to dress up or down. I've become a big big fan of H&M and they seem to be getting better by the day. This lovely little number is worth every penny, because it will see you through the summer and beyond. Just add some chunky boots and a straw hat for some festival chic or wedge sandals and a statement jewellery for a hot summer evening. Sorted.

bargain hunter

I hate winter. I hate that it's dark all the time, it rains a lot and it's COLD! Lately you could really feel the temperature drop and to cheer myself up there is only one way out - shopping! And with a great excuse, because there is no better time than now, to buy a new coat. I love coats and jackets and I have so many. But there is never too many, as with any other item of clothing or accessory. Now I have to tell you how lucky I was, as I got myself the best bargain ever! I said this before and I'm gonna say it again. I love to mix and match. Little bit of high street, little bit of designer and so on. And my last find proves, you don't have to spend a fortune to look good. I'm talking about my faux fur coat that I got in H&M for £20 in a sale recently. They had a special offer on winter outerwear. How lucky! Since then I had so many compliments about it and everyone thought it cost me loads! So now I'm extra excited as I have something fabulous that didn't break the bank.

Zara - my favourite high street shop

As I mentioned several times before (and will mention again in the future) I love shopping. Apart from my number one fashion spot Selfridges, I decided to tell you about my favourite shop on the high street - ZARA. I love, love, love the store! With 63 branches in the UK there is a big chance there's one very near by you and if you have never been there before, make sure you pay a visit very soon. It is so great for following trends and making them their own. You can see very clearly influences from the top designers and copies from catwalks, but they translate the trends in such an amazing way it's hard to resist. And why would you spend thousands, if you can get fabulous clothes for fracture of the price. The good thing is, they don't keep any design on the floor for longer than four weeks so you won't see half of the population wearing the same stuff. They use nice fabric and are great for you basics, but also their jeans and jackets are absolutely gorgeous. You can find all different styles - workwear, partywear, casual - the whole lot. They do womenswear, menswear, childrenswear and homewear so you can dress up not only yourself but your whole family and your home! What's not to like? And with all the fab designs reasonably priced you'd be mad not go mad in there.
